GOOD TO KNOW
Stocking a
Palestinian kitchen.
What keeps, what needs the fridge, and where it all comes from.
What's in the starter pantry bundle?
The five things a Palestinian kitchen always has: extra virgin olive oil, premium za'atar, tahini, Medjool dates and pickled cucumbers. Bought together it saves $8 against buying them separately.
How long do pantry items keep?
Everything is shelf-stable and carries a best-before date. Tahini, halawa and molasses live in the cupboard; opened olives, pickles and cheese go in the fridge.
Does anything need refrigerating when it arrives?
No. Every item ships shelf-stable and can sit in the cupboard until you open it. Refrigeration only applies to brined jars and cheese once the seal is broken.
Is any of it dairy or non-vegan?
Everything on the pantry shelf is plant-based except the Nabulsi sheep cheese. Halawa, tahini, molasses, grains and pickles are all vegan.
Where do the products come from?
From Palestinian cooperatives and family producers we buy from directly—grains from the northern hills, olives and oil from Jenin and Nablus, dates from the Jordan Valley.

OUR STORY
The flavors of home, stocked in your kitchen.
Every jar, pouch, and bag carries the work of Palestinian farmers and makers—the everyday mouneh that turns a meal into a memory of home.
Oil, za'atar, tahini, freekeh, maftoul, dates. The shelf a Palestinian kitchen is built on.
“A full pantry is not about food. It is knowing the winter will pass and no one at this table goes without.”
